Well, i'm really upset, i can't update the firmware.
I have an m-audio 2x2 AE with the latest drivers for my windows Xp, but i keep getting the "No hardware detected" i can send midi but it doesn't recognize the axe-fx
I've already checked the cables, installed recent drivers, changed midi buffer size and midi buffer delay parameters, re-installed everything, newest axe-edit and now what?
I really need some help, this thing is driving me insane.

From reading previous posts in this forum, the M-Audio drivers for the 2x2 AE (I have one BTW) on XP, do not seem to work real well with the Axe. Do not know why, and not sure if any resolved the issue or not.
FWIW- I'm running Win7 Ultimate x64, and have drivers for teh 2x2 AE isntalled and it works fine. I also have the UNO and it works fine too - but it uses the MS drivers, not Ma-Audio's. Not much help I know.. sorry. I'll do some research. You should too.

What version of AxeFx firmware are you running?
What version of AxeEdit are you running?

In the Audio/MIDI settings of Axe-Edit:
What do you see in the midi input and midi output fields?
if you are sending...you will see the port on the 2x2 midi output.
Do you see a port selected for midi input? or does it say none?

Got it solved but don't ask me how. After several tries i got it to the point where it would get the transfer untill halfway done, using Bome's Sendex, then it worked  .I've updated the firmware. I still don't have figured what was wrong,i didn't do nothing at all.
