Thanks, I've done it and it was a doddle with them instructions. Totally opened the axe fx up for me that, as well as using the X/Y function too I've got all my sounds for songs into 5 patches. Amazing.

Never heard of one breaking down. Pretty much bulletproof.


Only issue I know of is that the pedals are optical, that means a foil underneath the pedals moves between a led and a diode, which in itself is a very dependable construction, nothing to wear, if only the foils were printed well. Mine did not have a uniform taper. There is a pdf with tapers you can print on the FCB1010 Yahoo user board. I printed it out and stuck it under the pedals, now it's all good.
