Mid-gain Goodness (10.03 Plexi crunch/Stock cab)

Nolly

Inspired
Hi guys,

I've been enjoying jamming around on this mid-gain patch I made this week:

It's the Plexi 2 model with the Brit 4x12 and Brit 2x12 running together. The guitar is a Blackmachine B2 with a set of Bare Knuckle Mule pickups.

Cheers!

Great sound, man. Is that through a FRFR and mic'd or no? Would love the patch. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Shep, it's recorded direct! I don't have my MIDI interface to hand, but I started with the stock Plexi-Vox preset and tweaked from there - shouldn't take much effort to get something similar :)

Great classic Marshall tone, I usually don't use the brit 4x12 witch I think sound thin and fuzzy, but with the plexi combination, it's just perfect, I really like it!

I have to agree with the comment in the clip: very Pete Townshend-like. You've nailed The Who. I guess with digital modeling, we will get fooled again. :)

Add me to the list of people impressed. It sounds great. I would also love to either see the patch or know what your amp settings were here.

Sounds good, can I ask what your recording setup was....

Audio Interface Type?
Axe Fx Analog or Digital Out?
DAW Used?
