Since 18.07 was released, last night I decided to go back to some Alnico gold/blue IR's that I captured a few months ago when the MIC+DI method was first introduced. I noticed via the VU meters that the IR's I captured are about -3db less or so VS the stock and 3rd party IR's.
So I did another capture last night using the IR capture utility in Cab-lab and found that increasing the volume of the amp made no difference. Here is my setup...
MIC SM57 -> PRE Behringer x32 rack in-> X32 Main Out-> Axe FX IN2 L
--Axe FX OUT2 L -> AMP Input Matrix 1000fx -> ATTENUATOR Rivera Rock Crusher Line out -> Axe FX IN2 R
Rock Crusher -> CAB Speaker Input
The capture sounds great it's just more quiet than the other IR's. I can adjust the level of the amp block to match the rest of my patches as a workaround, but wanted to make sure I wasn't doing something wrong...
Is there a way to normalize the Ultra Res IR's or am I missing something?
Thanks!
