Maintenance for an oiled & waxed neck

I've been using lemon oil for rosewood and ebony fretboards and necks.
I got:
  • a EBMM VH with what seem like an oiled and waxed satin neck
  • a Warmoth with an unfinished Indian rosewood neck and ebony fretboard.
  • two Fender 2013 Dealer Select Stratocasters with apparently the same finish.
The Strats have a channel bound birdsey maple neck and a rosewood fretboard.
Can I use Lemon Oil or do I need some other stuff like gun oil and wax?

For oiled maple, I like this stuff - Amazon product ASIN B01HC0O3LC When the neck starts getting tacky at all, I just take some 0000 steel wool to it and finish up with some of that wax. I have a couple of Carvins with that bare/unfinished maple feel, and I have yet to need to re-oil them, just some periodic care with the above works for me. I have no idea how this would behave with that rosewood, though.

Sweet!

Not the fingerboard but the neck. It's an non lacquered Indian Rosewood neck with an ebony fingerboard
