Mine has done this on occasion as well. Tracked it down to it not liking something my Roland FC-300 floorboard sending occasionally during powerup. If it happens, I just have to unplug the MIDI from my floorboard, restart the Axe, and plug MIDI back in.

mine did this and wouldn't move on from what you're seeing there (at a soundcheck, no less). it turned out to be a loose ribbon connector

ya mine did this once after a Firmware update (9.X I forgot which one), scared the crap out of me.
I rebooted and it hasn't done it since (thank god)

Mine has done this twice over the years. Always goes away with a reboot.

I had one that did it every time. Required replacement. Happy now. Thx FAS support. Still freak a little bit during the pause @ startup.
