Looper question: playback of layered loop plays out-of-time

Howdy,

quick looper question:

- If I record a backing loop (loop 1)
- Layer a lead line over it (loop 2)
- and LEAVE it playing, it plays fine
- BUT, if I stop playback, and then restart it, the layered loop (loop 2) goes all crazy and out of time. It will get progressively more weird and out of time the more I stop and restart. The original backing track loop (loop 1) remains unaffected.

I first thought it was a delay or scene issue, but it appears that the problem happens no matter what, even on super-simple presets (amp, cab, looper).
No USB connected, using a ART X-15 Ultrafoot Midi controller (old school).

Any thoughts/suggestions?

It seems to be doing it on all patches with a looper, so I'm wondering if its a setting thing that I'm just missing?? It also does it with the ART mid switcher unplugged.

If you start and stop playback from the front panel does it do the same thing?

Yes, if I record/stack/stop/start from the front panel with the ART unplugged, it still does it.

Thanks. I've been able to reproduce your bug. After doing some testing I'm pretty sure it only affects "Stereo Undo" mode so if you switch the mode to "Stereo" for now you should be fine.

I have an idea what's causing the issue and I'll let you know what I have a fix for Stereo Undo.

Firmware bug. Has been fixed and will be in the next release. 10.12 is in beta and will be released shortly.
