LOOPER and SCENE pedal does not work

Hello, I'm from China, my English is poor, thank you for your kind reply.

FX8 before the firmware version is v0.05, the three rightmost footswitches on the original FX8 are labeled "Scene" "Looper" and "Tempo". These three keys can be used normally.

I recently upgraded the firmware version of the fx8 to V5.03. FX8 now has the following problems:

KEY 'Scene' the light does not light when pressing the button
Tap this footswitch once can not to enter Single Scene Select Mode
Press and hold can not to enter Single Preset / Bank Select Mode.

KEY'LOOPER 'the light does not light when pressing the button
Tap this footswitch once can not to enter Looper Mode.
Press and hold can to engage True Bypass.Tap again can to un-bypass.

KEY'TEMPO 'the light is flashing all the time
Tap this footswitch once can not set the FX8 Tempo
Press and hold the TEMPO footswitch can enter enter Tuner Mode. Tap this switch can not again to exit Tuner Mode.

What is the problem? thank you all

I try to version down to 5.00, still can not solve this problem, the version down to 3.06, the system continues to restart
 
The control of this area can not be synchronized to the machine, it is still ture bypass tuner normal use, the other can not be used.

Sounds like there might be a loose cable inside. Contact Fractal support.

You've described two problems: footswitches that don't work, and continuous rebooting. Those problems can't exist together, so it's not clear what your actual problem is. A conversation with support will clarify your question.
 
Yeah I'm confused what the actual problem is. Did everything work until you updated version? You said the "keys" do not work. Do you mean when you set an F switch (F1,F2,F3) to one of those functions it does not work at all?

They are not keys, they are switches. No big deal but this makes it easier to communicate.

Try resetting all those switches manually. Set them all to NONE. Like this:

SCENE SWITCH TAP - NONE
SCENE SWITCH HOLD - NONE
LOOPER SWITCH TAP - NONE
LOOPER SWITCH HOLD - NONE
TEMPO SWITCH TAP - NONE
TEMPO SWITCH HOLD - NONE

Exit the menu. Turn the FX8 off.

Turn the FX8 back on and set it back up to defaults:

SCENE SWITCH TAP - SINGLE SCENE
SCENE SWITCH HOLD - SINGLE PRESET/BANK
LOOPER SWITCH TAP - LOOPER
LOOPER SWITCH HOLD - TRUE BYPASS
TEMPO SWITCH TAP - TEMPO TAP
TEMPO SWITCH HOLD - TUNER

See if that helps.

TEMPO SWITCH HOLD - NONE

Exit the menu. turn the FX8 off.
restart and test these three switches：
LOOPER SWITCH HOLD still can TRUE BYPASS
TEMPO SWITCH HOLD still can TUNER

Turn the FX8 back on and set it back up to defaults:
SCENE SWITCH TAP - SINGLE SCENE
SCENE SWITCH HOLD - SINGLE PRESET/BANK
LOOPER SWITCH TAP - LOOPER
LOOPER SWITCH HOLD - TRUE BYPASS
TEMPO SWITCH TAP - TEMPO TAP
TEMPO SWITCH HOLD - TUNER

The result is the same as before.

I don't know what else to try. I suggest you contact Fractal support. Hopefully they can help.
