Line6 HX Effects as midi controller for Axe FX II

I've got an MC6 midi controller that works well with the Axe and is very portable, but I'm thinking for a little extra size (and money) I'll get all that plus nearly a Fractal FX8, for around 500 used (when available). Looks interesting.

Seems like it can function as a pretty capable controller. I’m considering integrating one in my AX8 rig so I have much better control. The effects are just a bonus.
