Let's see those FM9 rigs!

It's a full rosewood neck. The tone is really warm, i love it! And the profile is perfect for my hand.
Ah, that explains why it looks darker than I expected for chocolate maple. Which profile is it? I have the even taper on my TAG and it is very comfortable.

I rebuilt my old FM3/FC-6 board to an FM9 based board now. I love the FM9!! It’s ready for any situation. I have 3 exp pedals with 2 of them optional. The mission spring load is always there as a wah. The pedals fit behind the unit for carting all. All cables coil on top. Throw the lid on and go. It’s ready for FRFR, power amp, or both simultaneous, all the time. There is a Cioks DC7 underneath supplying very quiet power to all the outside pedals. Also I have 4CM presets setup for real amps that use the Suhr micro midi on the board. Optional built in GLX wireless always ready when needed. The pedals up front aren’t really needed (beside the splitter for wireless) but I use occasionally to shape the input on the fly. Happy camper as I am in two bands at the moment, so this is super convenient and sounds so good with all my guitars. This is by far, my best/favorite Fractal rig iteration yet (12 years now and owned them all).

Honestly didn't want to have to upgrade to a bigger board, but I wanted to have the extra expression pedal and my Shure wireless back on the board. I had been using the temple audio duo 24 with an FM3, big sky, wireless and EV-2, but when I got the FM9 I could only fit the FM9 and EV-2 and still had to take one of the handles off the DUO. So, this is the DUO 34, with some added modules on the side. Just got the USB and 1/4" module today. View attachment 100532View attachment 100533
Hey man, what was your solution for getting the IEC cable through the Temple Board? The one powering the FM9.

Just arrived today. There is a jealous Axe-Fx1 and AX8 on the side. Currently running it through a pair of QSC HPR122is on sticks, but eventually will also use it through the BE-100D and the 4x12 with 4CM or through a Seymour Duncan PowerStage 170 and the 4x12.

Pulled off 2 pedals and dropped in an FM9 where an AX8 used to be. Luckily there was enough meat on the cabling to give me a little play to get things in order perfectly. I lost 1 pedal and 1 expression pedal but I gained a freggin FM9 so I’m good.

Which model board is that, is it a rockboard of some kind?

Nice! Give ie a little more time and you'll probably lose that H9!

Here's mine mounted to a Trio 28. This handles direct as well as a 4C set up with a breakout box and Voodoo Control Switcher to connect to my Fuchs ODS amps the CS fits perfectly under the riser. Open space is yet unplanned but I figured to use it for swapping in fav pedals like the H9 which I love the synth sounds on. The Electro Harmonix pedal is set up to control the level of my output block. It's like having two global solo level controls. There was a really great idea posted here on building one of these from scratch to accomplish this but this pedal does the trick and gives you a second control.
What size of screws did you use to mount the FM9? I tried some M3.5x0.6 16mm and the circumference is to small to thread into the FM9

I'd love to know what the board/case is.

Finished building the FM9 rig right now 😁😁 so stoked to play live next week with this beauty
Going FOH or into a cab - both possible with this rig

Nice rig. Does Harley Benton GPA100 do the job well?.. Really enough to juice 412 cab?

Yep! Ordered the screws off Amazon and they arrived today - the fit perfectly. The screws I tried before that I got from Ace Hardware were in fact the wrong screws.
Concur. Amazon has the correct size, local hardware may not. The M3.5x0.6 16mm screw is somewhat of an odd duck, you can hardly locate it anywhere else than amazon (perhaps several additional online specialty hardware parts stores)

Here's the link again for anyone who needs to locate the correct screws...
