Let's see those FM3 rigs!

thank you. But, can you show me your cable routing from the fm3 to the expression pedal?
You already got that information in the previous post to the one you results to. It shows the cabling and the answer is literally directly from the manual.

Edit:

I guess maybe you're asking about the switch on the pedal, which isn't in that post?

no, i mean the actual cable routing from his pedalboard.

Doesn’t help much😂
If I remember correctly routing goes something like this
TRS from Exp 1 on the Hotone goes to pedal 1 on the FM3 assigned to Exp/SW tip
TS from Footswitch 2 on the Hotone goes to pedal 2 on the FM3 assigned to SW ring

If its not like that, the instructions in the manual will help you figure it out.

Here is my next final iteration!

Gokko/Soyan 12" X 18" aluminum pedalboard.

The ToneX One provides a tube power amp sim and room sim for the HV JCM800 tube preamp, freeing the FM3's Amp Block to do a second amp, which is then cross-faded to as needed. The ToneX One is powered by the FM3's FAS Link connector, via a 12V to 9V buck transformer and a isolation transformer. This eliminates the FM3's single amp restriction vs the FM9 and AFX3.

Mosky Dual Footswitch.

Ceba Screen Protectors.

Mooer Footswitch Toppers.

Mooer Footswitch Shrooms.

Mono Club 2.0 Case

Custom Patchbay (to save the FM3's connectors from people tripping on cables on blacked out stages).

The whole pedalboard complete with cheap case, DIY patchbay and cabling cost around $100, including clockable XLR's and right-angle MIDI connectors, D-Series punched project box, plus the D-Series 5-Pin DINs and XLR connectors, and the D-Series1/4" connector.

FC Setup...

FC1 tap controls the Ableton LIVE Looper Plugin's Play button, and hold the FM3's Tuner.
FC2 tap controls the Ableton LIVE Session Loop button, and hold selects the Virtual Capo.
FC3 tap switches Delay FX, and hold selects the Ableton LIVE Looper Plugin's Undo button plus a Freq Out FX.

The Mosky Dual Switch 1 tap increments Scenes, and hold decrements Scenes (the majority of FX changes and cross-fades/fades are automated via MIDI from Ableton LIVE).
The Mosky Dual Switch 2 tap selects the Auto-Wah.

It runs this kitchen sink preset at a safe 77% CPU on a non-turbo FM3...

FM3 plus the MFC101MK3.
I use this rig for touring with my Country Band (Amanda Keeles)
The FM3 sounds great and I have a lot of switching options for switching presets (5), scenes (5) and effects (12), plus separate tap tempo and tuner.
The MFC101 is a very powerful midi switcher.. Yes you do need to dive into the midi but it's well worth it!!

Guitar > Volume pedal > SP Compressor > EP Booster > Boss EQ > Spark > FM3 Guitar in > XLR outs from FM3 to 1/4” HX FX in > HX FX Out to DI > DI to FOH (OCD 4 switch pedal connected to expression pedals 1 & 2 inputs with TRS cables set to control tremolo, phaser, chorus and tuner.) The HX FX is being used for some extra delays and reverbs saving some DSP in the FM3. The FX in the HX are quite good and allows more flexibility in FM3 presets.

Can someone point me to a small FM3 Board with a Shure GLXD6 wireless mounted underneath?
I'm trying to look at some pictures and see how others have done this.
I'm thinking of building a new setup for my FM3T.
Thanks.

Almost any board with an elevated platform (Pedaltrain, Temple Audio, Creation Music, etc) should allow you to accomplish this. I used to have a Pedaltrain Classic 2 with my AX8, and my Shure GLX fit just fine underneath.

Not The Most exciting , but Functional !!!!!

This is my ultimate setup that I’ve finished setting up quite recently.

The board is a 80x40 cm custom one. Also, a lot of measuring, trimming and soldering went into the cable management. But the results are quite satisfactory.

Fractal units has been the best piece of equipment in my 25 years of guitar adventure.

Thanks for the killer tones!
