Legacy Vs. Dyna-Cabs

I wasn't 100% sure about DCabs until I picked up a pack from the store and worked with Cablab. Ended up with great results creating some IRs. I like to tweak so it was really fun to experiment with the cool interface, too. Besides, I've dropped $30+ on a round of drinks at the bar! ;) And, there is a nice sale going on now.

Congratulations! Which pack?

Do you know that it is allowed to share the files with the Cab-Lab 4 Sessions? ;)
(only the pack owners can use them)

Started with the Friedman cab pack then picked up the rest. All are great so far experimenting around with them a bit. I know how to listen with my ears AND my eyes. Like to use as many senses as possible. If we could only bottle that wonderful 'amp smell'
Maybe get a bottle of Fractal 'amp freshener' with every purchase?

I'm not a great expert on mics, preamps etc.
I've only found by try and fail and lot of time spent with the looper, that any Dynacab + Condenser mic, position: cap + 16/19 cm distance sounds better than any IR as a starting point for creating a sound.
The only IR he still uses are the 2x12 Zillas with Creambacks
