Just Got my First FAS - AFX III MKII Turbo

Huge investment for us in Canada, but took the plunge and just received my Axe FIII MKII Turbo - set it up on Axe Edit and it's an exciting discovery! Coming from Kemper, I have to say it's a welcome change in sound design and editing - I am looking forward to developing some great sounds and experimenting - I compose for film projects - I really like fulsome clean sounds as a starting point, hoping to be able to create some amazing tones - it took awhile to get a full bodied clean tone that I was inspired with on the Kemper but I got there - hoping the AFX III opens a new door to creativity :)

Congratulations !! From the best profiler, to the best modeler.
You'l soonl discover the advantages... IMO today is the best sonic choice.
It also has an huge effects arsenal (it's a completely different league from the Kemper) that will help you create fascinating soundscapes/atmospheres.

BTW I'm courious about its cost in Canada... :cool:

Pretty sure landed a turbo would be low $4k cad these days? Fm3 was $1600 landed at launch roughly, iirc. Lots since then…

Congrats OP and welcome! You may find some of the factory presets are great starting points depending on the type of sound needed.
