a single preset on the FX8?

I really liked P: A1 S:1 the first original preset on the FX8 MkII but when I first got the FX8 I used it to learn how to mod various efx and basically learn how the machine worked and now it is totally obliterated and I can't get the original preset back. Is there any way to retrieve just that one preset without resetting all the firmware?
 
Presets and firmware are completely separate. You can download the MkII presets here.. http://www.fractalaudio.com/firmware-presets.php

From FX8-Edit, You should be able to go to the preset location that you want to load the preset into, click on Import, select the downloaded 'un-zipped' factory bank, then select the preset.

FYI...I don't have an FX8, I assume that it is similar to the other units.....
 
@Moke is headed down the right path. Just don't forget to download the factory presets so you actually have something to restore. :)
