Is there a bug in the "Dump" function of the "IR capture utility" of FW 13.02?

I shot a few IRs of my cabs with the IR capture utility. If I save them to an IR slot everything is fine, but if I dump them ("Dump"->"x") to Midi-OX the data which is received is not usable. If I compare the slot-saved IR and the dumped file with an hex-editor these files have absolutely nothing in common - except for the file length. In my understanding these files should be the same. Is this a bug or just me? :D

Yes, this is a known bug. For now you can save the IR to a user slot and then dump that slot from the Utility->Preset menu.

What? Now I'm confused...

Shouldn't dump create a raw dump that the new upcoming CabLab can read and mix?
Not a cab ready for loading into a user slot.

"Added Dump feature to IR Capture utility. After an IR has been captured pressing this button will dump a full, unprocessed, 8K sample IR to the USB port."

Thanks for confirming, Cliff.

RDNZL: The 8k sample dump ("dump"->"y") works. What is not working is when you shoot an IR and DON'T save it in an user cab slot but dump the processed SYX file ("dump"->"x")

Ohhhh! Sorry, I forgot that the DUMP function gives you an X/Y choice.
All is clear now :encouragement:
