I think the unit is very hip looking, but I prefer a more "traditional" rectangle form factor with a button layout that places all the buttons flat on the top surface of the board.
Some folks like colonial style homes .. some like modern style homes .... I fall into the traditional/colonial style camp.

Checked it out -- However, I am not crazy about the form factor. Also it does not have a MAC editor.
If you have an intel mac, boot into windows & you're good to go.
Form factor is a preference thing. I wasn't sure how I'd like the form factor, but compared to the midimate I gigged with, the LG is a dream. If you HAVE to have 4 rows of 4 buttons you're outta luck, but the LG can have as many IA's as you want. I have a setup for looping that puts 24 IA switches and 8 preset switches at my feet all in one bank of 10 switches.
