Interesting post by Cliff on TGF

I feel like the Dynacab IR length might be too short for a bass cab but not sure.

Even cliff mentioned upto 8000 samples (166.66 ms for 48khz in the fractal ax3) is good enough to accurately capture low end on guitar cabs

https://wiki.fractalaudio.com/wiki/index.php?title=Impulse_responses_(IR)#UltraRes

But that’s guitar cabs not bass cabs

And to add another spanner in the works , it still depends on the speaker whether more length is required

Curious what they’re going to do about bass dyna-cabs length wise

Dynacabs are not ultrares

Yes but you mentioned 8000 samples, that's not the case of dynacabs ;)

I know, I literally quoted the wiki page I’m aware of that fact.

I’m saying that cliff says up to 8000 samples is enough to capture the low end for guitar cab , but we’re dealing with bass cabs now.

Dyna cabs are 2048 samples , so as I was saying what they’re going to do about that.
