I’ve tried to match the LT Mix 7 with a Dyna Cab. The Dyna Cab always sounds scooped in the higher mids.Agreed. Does anyone think they can get a Dynacab to sound better than LTTV2?
I've always wondered this! The only GUESS that I can come up with is that it's a carry-over from some old terminology of a "TV mix," meaning a "broadcast mix." So if there was a televised concert, someone would be mixing for the venue and someone else would be doing the "TV mix." So the "TV" in the IR name would refer to a direct-to-console / recording / broadcast type sound. Once again, just a guess.Let me show my ignorance…what does the TV in the IR name refer to?

OK Leon, you seem be the only one who knows the answer! What does TV refer to?
Already a ton of "TV" IRs in the Axe: https://wiki.fractalaudio.com/wiki/index.php?title=Cabinet_models_list. Also in Dyna Cab. Not just a Leon thing. https://marshall.com/amps/products/cabinets/1960tv. And yes, I think it stands for "Tall Vintage."Tall vintage?
