In my little world as a bedroom player, I tend to use the same cabinets a lot.
I've found peace (especially for high gain sounds) by combining 2x12s (like the Stealth) or sometimes adding a 1x12.

I also have a couple of mixes created with Mikko Reflex (which is basically a special 1x12) mixing Mesa and Marshall.
Trying to play as much as possible and not get lost in the endless choices, I preferred to use 2-3 cabinets and play with all the other settings.
Among other things, I always tend to look for the sound I have in my head, rather than emulating the sound of some artist... and it turns out that even if I change amplifiers, the sound always ends up in a similar place.
