How to manually sweep a phaser?

Hey, does anyone know how to use an expression pedal to manually (or footually) control the position of the phaser?

Attach your expression pedal to the Control parameter.

Which control parameter would that be? I see just Rate, Depth, Feedback, Frequency, Start Frequency, Mix, Level, Balance, and Bypass as being the modifiers.

I may have to eat my words. Now that I'm home and in front of my Axe III, I don't see a way to manually control the Phaser sweep. I really though there was a hook for that.

Set Depth to zero (basically disables the LFO) and assign the modifier to the frequency parameter.
