How to get my effect blocks from my AXE Ultra

Hi guys
im sure this has been discussed many times before, but i cant find the right thread.

Is there a chance to have a look at my AXE FX 1 presets i once built and maybe copy some effect blocks ( or even have a look at the parameters )
i had made many u2 presets which seem to be lost for me at the moment....
I have to rebuild them on my AXE FX 2, and i could save so much time by checking some effect blocks i used at that time

There is no way to transfer blk or presets from the ultra to the ii

If you post the patches, perhaps someone with an Ultra and AxeEdit (like me) might be kind enough to take some screenshots for you if you can say which settings you'd like shown..?

you can do this if you install two versions of axe edit (rename one of them) and make sure they have their own workspaces

then you can open both instances at the same time

pull up the patch or block in the ultra one and create a new version in the new one with the same settings and save it

the old one won't need to be connected to work. you might need an old version of axe edit - maybe 0.9.x

I use CyberFerret's axeFXreporter utility to "see" the effects and their respective parameters from my Ultra presets and then use this information to dial in the AxeFX II settings. His utility generates a PDF file list of the blocks and settings in a preset. Details are in the following thread:
