Wow, Ive had the FM3 for a few weeks, and never touched it. It pretty much handles what I’ve been using a PEQ block for. Takes the fizz out with just slight adjustment.

It's a feature I wish more real world amps had.

For anyone curious as to what it does, from the wiki;

"It's a shelving filter between the preamp and power amp and can be used to darken or brighten the output of the preamp. It replicates the “Presence” control in the Mesa Triaxis preamp when set to negative values (the Presence control in the Triaxis is a high frequency cut shelving filter)."

Note that on the Triaxis models it's labeled" preamp presence ".

Exactly.

I just used it to ADD a lil spark to a 5153 Red preset I made.

I bet it’ll come in handy dialing in backline cabs quickly on the fly.

A few amps have a presence control in the pre
the Uber Twin Jet comes to mind
as well the JP2C and Triple Crown

Alternatively I am turning it up to about 3.3 on my latest attempt at a Djent Preset for more bite. It's a great knob when used judiciously.
