I agree with you rex. Personally i like that the sonic differences come from the amp block and the drive block more than the cab block. For exemple, i use the FAS modern dans the other guitarist in my band use the DAS metal but with the same IRs combinaison than me (but with small differents settings).

IMO, since the FW 16.03, reverbs and delays became absolutely nice and need no more tweaking in the EQ section at the moment you are satisfied of your tone.

If you're happy with your results, that's all that matters. That's more important than any "rules" about whether to use the same cab for both guitars.

I really like the PEQ Shelving 2 type for a low pass. It has a bump around the knee point that just sounds like an old analog desk EQ to my ears.

Yes, I use Shelving 2 too.
