Help, Please: Setting the IA Switches.

Hello, all:

With the MFC-101, IA switches 1-5 were for presets. The remaining switches were used to turn individual effects on and off. I would like to do the same with the AX8.

My thought is to have 1-4 as presets and 5-8 as Drive, Chorus, Delay and Filter (boost). Can someone kindly give me step by step programming instructions?

on the FS page spin the E knob to select a Switch slot
turn the A knob to change the slot to whatever you want
press Enter
repeat.

Is this a global setting or per preset?

By default, it is per preset. But for each switch, you can choose to make the selection global across all presets.

Page 33 in the manual (the last paragraph) describes how to do this.
