Help me decide

I have Axe II and LF Mini controller. I was planning to get a second controller like LF Jr+ to have more control functions available, but with recent updates Cpu limit is getting a real issue. So i started to think about FX8. I would use it in conjunction with Axe fx. What do you think about this, is this overkill?

It's a beautiful thing. The ability to orchestrate transitional layers to give the impression of completely seamless changes, requires redundancy. I was pining for an FX8 when it was first announced, but the price put it out of my budget for the time being. Since it could replace some of my existing gear, the next logical move for me would be to raise some cash by selling off some of those items to defray its cost. Gear acquisition is not a high priority at the present time...and I can't even believe I'm saying that right now....
