Headphones

Recently realized that the output 1 jack in back isn't disabled when headphone are plugged in. I was wondering if there was a simple way for me to practice at night using the headphone output without also hearing my studio monitors blasting out and having to unplug them? I did try plugging the monitors into output 3 but I would also have to change the output blocks to 3 and then back to 1 when using the headphones.

Turn your monitors off?

Otherwise: nope.

This is why I route my Fractal boxes into an audio interface/mixer -- so I can mix multiple sources into my monitors and not have to worry about plugging things in and out, turning things off and on.

Yup. I use a mixer, too. Silencing a device is a piece of cake.

I really like my AKG K7XX -- they're not closed, so sound does bleed, but it's not bad at night.

I've never been a big fan of headphone with the Axe Fx but lately I've been using HD-650 and they are very nice. They are also partially open...

HD-650s here as well. Would much rather play through speakers, but when you just can’t, the 650s sound pretty decent.
