Haven't Played My Ultra for 7 months - Sounds Better?

So I just had some time to play and before I did I updated the software from what was current maybe 9 months ago, and dang it sounds so nice. Has there been a huge sound improvement or is it just my ears or current studio monitor setup? Have you guys that have been steadily playing all this time noticed significant refinement of the sound quality or is it just my perception? It sure feels aot more realistic to play than I remember. Lovin it.
 
If you updated from before 6.xx the difference is huge. Many advances have been made. The sound is greatly improved indeed. From great to fantastic in my opinion.

In a week the new editor has been promised to be released, there's much to be enjoyed.
 
I thought It was sounding different. Great news.

new editor? fantastic! will it be mac compatible?
