Have you found “your” amp in the FM3?

No, but I have found it in the AX3 with Cygnus! It's the Two Stone, an amp that I never would have guessed I would like. This model sounds very different (much better) with Cygnus so eagerly waiting for the FM3 official release.

Me too. I wonder why the 2A sounds so much better than the other versions?

This is from Yek's write up on the Cameron:
And indeed, the Cameron's 2nd channel doesn't have that much gain. It just explodes because of the engaged Saturation parameter which attributes to its mean sound. It sounds even nastier (and much brighter) than the Cameron Atomica. A side-product of these cutting tones is that you may not like them as much for single notes high on the neck; they can sound thin. All IMHO of course.

I find “My amp” every day. 😁 Right now, I’m addicted to the Carol Ann Tucana paired with two York IR mixes (M25 and Bogner).
This same setup is in my Colored assignment, very good real sounding Preset, but gotta have the York on it..

Atomica High through EVH 412 mix#1 is a favorite of mine. I could dial in “my” sound pretty effortlessly from the day I first plugged in to my FM3.

That said, my tube amp is a 5150III through a 2x12 and the FM3 preset I have dialed in for that is scary accurate. So I use that a lot too. (50w btw)

My recent discoveries were the JP-IIC+ (where has this been all my life??) and the Dirty Shirley, which I previously didn’t care for, so thanks FAS for this killer Cygnus firmware!

I love the caswell #34!

That one is killer! It's one of the main amps (have it in 2 scenes) on my primary live preset.
I keep the Cab Block (and all other blocks the same) and have 4 different amp models
in various scenes.

I have no clean channels/amps at all that I am using. I get better/superior "clean" tones (in
my experience) by just rolling back the volume on the guitar and softening up my pick attack.

Not necessarily, but just for grins I tried to see if I could get this sound:

I pulled up the Bassman Amp and put a Fender Cab on it and grabbed a Strat and sure enough it nailed it. I couldn't get that sound on the Kemper.

That guy has great videos. I also tried copying his tone from that vid. The 59 bassman in the fractal does nail that sound.

I'm still waiting for you to totally embrace fender amps...

I frequently find lots of tones that honestly sound great to my ears in the bedroom setting......it is getting them to sound good (and be heard in the mix) in the live band setting which I find so very challenging. My point: I often wonder if the tone which sounds "best" to us when we are dialing in our rig in our practice space might not actually be the best tone for live playing -- and vice-versa.

I guess I have not found "my" amp yet.......the search continues.
