I’ve recently added two more to the rack and I think it is full now. I think if I get another rack the wife might start noticing hahahahaha

Warmoth T Build and ‘95 Squire Strat (Open E for slide) are the newest ones.

A Fender Strat and a Chapman ML1-RS, with some nice pickups stuffed into it.

I feel like I need a Telecaster.

I'd love a Rick Toone Goshawk, but I can't justify that kind of price.

I don't remember if I posed in this thread already. As far as the ones I care about, it's 4 guitars from 4 companies (Gibson, PRS, Fender, and Epiphone).

If I'm counting Squire and Fender as a separate brand, I guess I'm at 8 guitars and 8 brands (Fender, Squire, Warmoth mostly parts, LTD, Gibson, Ibanez, Scott Shepherd, Yamaha)

And Yes rog, you need a Tele. I can't believe I waited 26 years to get my first. Buy Buy Buy

Picked up this 2003 UV777P last week - my first ever 7-string! It needs some care and attention; the frets are corroded, the neck needs sanding and oiling and all screws and the trem blades are rusty, but I stuck some new strings on it and fumbled my way through For the Love of God for the heck of it 😅

I have a few guitars but a few years back I was looking at a sale AMS was having on some Jacksons. I have always looked at guitars like Jackson, Ibanez and Charvel like cheap imitations. I had made friends with Mike Lipe a while back and found that he had designed some of the Ibanez line. So, it kind of opened up my mind to them. Anyway, I saw this this SL2 Pro and decided to get it and a black SL2 Pro. I have not stopped playing that guitar. The one that had caught my attention, though, was Vai's San Dimas. Jackson had made a limited run (Jackson SD22JB) and I was trying to find one but couldn't. When they made another limited run I was fortunate enough to get one. To my surprise, it came from Fenders MIM Custom shop. But this guitar, what a monster. The Jackson's are a great surprise to me and I wish I would have discovered them a long time ago. This is the fastest and easiest playing guitar I have touched in all of my years of playing.

I'm guessing you didn't grow up playing guitar thru the '80s, then?
I started playing guitar around 1960. I just never thought they were good guitars. My favorite guitar was my old Tele until I found the Jacksons, even though I do still play my Tele. I even purchased an MIM Strat when they first started making them but never thought about purchasing what I considered an off brand. Like I said, it was Mike Lipe that had changed my mind about these guitars. His guitars were phenomenal. It's unfortunate he is not around any more.

Last I counted, it was more than I could play at once from 10+ brands. It's almost always an SG Standard in my hands since buying an Axe-FX 3. This unit may end up being responsible for more than just my amps and pedals finding new owners.

I had a Jackson SL2h USA for many years, and I also found like you it had the best neck I ever played. Unfortunately I never found a set of pickups that would make it sound right for me so ended up selling it, but I am always tempted with getting another one.
