Grid Layout for Outputs with/without CAB ON

HI all

Here's the aim:

PWR AMP & CAB ON

OUT1 to guitar cabinet. I want to bypass the CAB block in the Grid so I'm not modelling a cabinet in a cabinet

OUT2 to FRFR and/or FOH. Includes CAB Block in signal chain

Most presets I download have a straight path as follows:

INPUT->FX->AMP->CAB->FX->REVERB->OUTPUT

I know I can use the FX LOOP to take an output to include or exclude the CAB block thereby omitting it in the signal chain yet still having it available for the other OUTPUT.

I currently have OUT2 to ECHO OUT1 so would need to change that.

What is the recommended way to achieve this ? If I put an FX LOOP before the CAB then I assume the post amp FX and REVERB will not got to OUTPUT2.
 
Just put the cab at the end of the signal chain and split out the FX loop right in front of it. The cab position is important only in relation to non-linear blocks like amp and drive. The cab block should be stereo in case you want to feed a stereo signal to FOH.
