You don't need to reset amp models. But if you don't, your existing presets won't get any of the new default values in the amp block in question. I'm too lazy to do it myself. Unless you only have a handful of presets, that's an awful lot of dicking around in presets to do. However, if you create a new preset, the amp block will go in with the new default values when you add it.
