We have just joined the forum after seeing a post regarding the new VS1300 vibrato that is being manufactured by our Japanese partners Gotoh.

We have just joined the forum after seeing a post regarding the new VS1300 vibrato that is being manufactured by our Japanese partners Gotoh.
- The first questions of course will be when will it become available to buy, this we cannot confirm for sure with our industry and many others still being affected by the aftereffects of the last few years. The hardware market has been seriously affected by the processes and materials we use that are shared by other industries which has caused many delays, we are sure people will have come across such supply issues in other areas of their lives. We are thinking that it could well be before the end of the year, although we cant guarantee this, would be fantastic if this does happen.
- The VS1300 is the next evolution of the original VS100N and we know that it will be an amazing bridge/vibrato in all areas as you would expect from a Gotoh manufactured unit. The saddle design is of course influenced by our WVS1302P unit and the success this vibrato has had, of course in no small part due to Pete Thorn and John Suhr utilising this unit on there signature models and also custom models. There are some differences that may or may not have been noted, these are that the VS1300 will feature a billet steel block, and will use the stagger drill pattern developed on the VSVG vibrato that Gotoh produce.
- Wilkinson are very hands on with our products, and it is essential that the standards of quality are what you would expect from the Wilkinson brand, we are after all players ourselves and very proud of our creations, and as Pete stated we are making small changes to components as we learn from comments from players, artists and builders.
