FXL block question

Hi. I have this inserted in several patches to route the signal to Out 2 to drive my amp/cab. But I only get signal on out 2 if I echo out 1 on 2.
What am I missing?

Where are you placing the effects loop block? What signal is feeding it?

Weird. ECHO OUT2 = OUT1 should be bypassed/overruled after adding a FXL block to a preset, or has this been changed?

Edit: no, hasn't been changed. 12.03 release notes state that Echo won't function when a FXL block is present.

no it hasn't changed. I was thinking he meant it was working with echo on (no fx loop), but not with fxloop (no echo on).

If the FXLoop block is just sitting there with nothing run to it he would have that behavior I think...

That is why I asked what signal was feeding the FX Loop block.

Thanks guys. I'm sure its an fxl block (but I'll check when home! ). I have the signal path running into it then onto a cab & out. I'm def. Missing something stupid!

Check the bypass mode on the Echo isn't set to mute?
