Hi.
Here's a patch I made to recreate one of my Fuzz Factory sounds. Not only did I succeed, but it also sounds better than the Factory in front of the same patch (with bypassed drive block of course)
one neat extra feature of the octave distortion:
play beyond the 12th fret and change to the neck pickup (preferrably with tone all the way down)
you can hear this effect briefly in the middle of the clip: first I hit a few notes with the bridge humbucker then I switch to the neck.
I used a RW IR with the following recipe:
BasketweaveG12M20s-SM7-ConeEdge-2in.wav
BassmanP10Qs-U67-CapEdge-0_5in.wav
MesaRectifierV30s-R121-Cone-0in.wav
VoxAC30Blues-M160-CapEdgeOffAxis-0in.wav
25% each
but the 4x12 20W + Royer also works fine.
