We were told it ends in 99. I think $50 more than a FC-6 doesn't seem realistic. Less than a FC-6 seems insane

FC-6 is $550

Those are very different products. I wouldn't think pricing of the VP4 relates at all to the FC6.

This quote sort of takes some possible pricing hope off the table. We wait and see.

I hope they can keep it low, need my cheapskate band member to buy one. With the hx effects @ 650 or whatever, I can see 699 (tho 599 would be great for the budget). The gtr market has softened a bit, and they put a bunch of that line6 stuff on sale for 100 off every other week it seems like.

I think this form factor is amazing. I think if they put out an FM4 or some other name to do modeling, it would kill off all the kemper/nano/hx boxes.

I can't post a link b/c I'm new, but there's a Guitar Player article up on the VP4 that says it retails at $699. Folks at The Gear Page chatting about this as well.
