Using Friedman HBE V1 + ML 4x12 Djent IR here.
I really enjoy how this combo sounds and feels. My Skervesen has BKP Holydiver in the Bridge and Emerald in the Neck. Like all of the BKP's i've tried, these are very dynamic and clear sounding pickups. BKP pickups have always added some extra magic in my guitars tone. They just seem work for me... and the awesome woods in the Skervesen won't hurt.
I've been listening a lot of Plini lately and I think it shows in this riff idea. I'm far FAR from the talent of Plini, but it feels good to get somewhere in the same ballpark... or am I?
