Good lord, maybe someone wants to take a crack at dialing in the tone around 6 min in when he kicks in the boost pedal? Sounds amazing.
I would love to have this amp added to the Fractal stable. I actually owned serial #59 of the first gen, and it was a beast of an amp.
Complete speculation but it almost had a plexi vibe to it at times… but way way more of umff..Any idea what the circuit is based on?
It was a modded Marshallesk flavor for sureThis amp is basically a Jose modded Marshall. I think we already have this in the axe.
Duno, it had the push pull pot and it effected the low gain and high gain pots. Like the one in the video.I would say a Hot Rodded 800

There is more to it than just a modded Marshall, I think I’d try to get close with the Fas Modern for the higher tighter tones. Yes I know it’s not based on a Marshall per se, but the actually amp has a deepness to it.I think that’s basically what the Fortin Cali is? Maybe this one, too.
That’s what the push pull pot is for, the outputs are blocked off on the amp. It only has a hi and low input.Ola fucked up by not jumping the channels. He didn't use it correctly (or optimally).
Oh ok, I stand corrected! I thought it had two gain knobs for each of the inputs, like Plexis do…That’s what the push pull pot is for, the outputs are blocked off on the amp. It only has a hi and low input.
I tried that and it’s awesome with the York Audio Blackjack Cab IR or the YA Mesa OS Cab.I think LT had it right
Atomica HI w grinder boost ( which is the Fortin ) and then if you need even more gain use the saturation
Haha don't even need to touch anything, just FAS Brown and Shred boost get's me pretty much there. Normally I stick with the Thordendal Modern for his tones. Requires a lot of tone shaping though.FAS Brown with the JP2C shred input boost, put a tube screamer in front, you're done.
