I had the same impression at first.

fortunately I only regularly use about 3 or 4 patches. Decided to give those a spin and started fresh after resetting the amps. I even ended up changing my Marshall tone with the slo x88 (previosly was using wrecker, cornford amps). The matchless 30 is also a beauty for close to break up cleans.

It’s a pita but worthy. There’s some new meat to this upgrade that deserves one to dig and explore some new amps.
 
Loving the updates. Going through my presets and checking for anything wildly out of whack, and really digging all of my favorite amps a bit more than before. Will have to look at FM9-EDIT and see if it is equipped with that bulk soft reset now that I read about it on the FX3 update thread. Seems like a real time saver. Hit the button, go get a snack, and it's done when I get back, and that's a fact, Jack!
 
I just had a scare.

Turned my FM9 on and no sound and I was panicking, trying to figure out what was going on as it worked fine yesterday before shutting down for the evening and nothing changed etc.

So I turn the FM9 off and waited like 10 seconds and turned it back on and I now have sound... Weird, don't think I've had that happen before.

I had same thing yesterday
had input because tuner worked and had output levels
weird
worked fine today

level meter was showing output too
shut off axe edit didnt work then shut unit down and waited 10 seconds turned in and all good
shouldnt have been output cable because Im running stereo clrs

Looked at the block signal levels page, and only the input and first block showed signal. The rest of the blocks' input and output meters were pinned full on and red instead of green.

Power cycle fixed it, haven't had another episode of it yet....
 
Nice improvement in the feel with this one. Hard to describe to seems to feel more dynamic. Required a bit of tweaking on a few presets to get the most out of it. Nice work!!

Sounds like a crash of one the blocks... Block types would be great for pinpointing, as would the specifics or even just a copy of the preset.
 
I just downloaded and installed the dynacab update, the fw version 9.02 and the Axe edit va 1.03.12. I see the soft reset on the unit but can't find it in the editor. When I right click on the ampblick all I see is "reset current channel". Other than a functional brain, what am I missing?

Most likely, the Wah was showing normal input but pegged output. Can you confirm?
 
Buonasera a tutti, ho appena aggiornato FM9 alla versione 9.02 e mi è già capitato due volte che quando accendo non esca l'audio dalle cuffie collegate direttamente all'FM9. Il segnale arriva e si vede anche dai LED sulla macchina, ma non si sente alcun suono, devo spegnere e riaccendere la macchina. Qualcuno ha riscontrato questo problema?
