When handed a private beta, are you also given a list of functions/features to test or is it more or less, here it is let us know how it works?

They would at least have a changelog, I imagine, which is probably enough to go on to start with.

I am usually not impatient with the firmware releases. But I am for this one. Really looking forward to the gapless switching and also the 5153 stealth model for my live rig, The new band has shows coming in March. Bring it on!!!!!

Cliff's release notes are perfectly adequate to give people an idea what the developers are working on.

Nope. Common sense told us that if we weren't looking for trouble, we wouldn't find it. The name wasn't used. Since "The Stooges" was already taken, our group just met for socialization, and the occasional singalong. Hopefully, in due time, backyard picnics and get-togethers will be the same.

No public BETA at this time. 5.01 is the current official FW for the FM9
