IMPORTANT NOTE: Starting with firmware 3.00, FM9-Edit 1.01.00 (or greater) is required to communicate with the FM9. Previous versions of FM9-Edit (versions 1.00.06 or less) are not compatible with firmware 3.00 or greater. FM9-Edit 1.01.00 (or greater) is not compatible with previous firmware versions 1.0 through 2.02.

Version 4.01 - January 17, 2023

New Features

  • Added new amp model: "59 Bassguy Reissue Jumped”.
  • Added new Drive effect model: "Bosom Boost".
  • Added new Wah effect model: "Paragon", based on Tycobrahe Parapedal.

Updates

  • AMP effect 'Input Dynamics' control is added.
  • Turning soft knob 3 'Block Level' on the layout GUI will no longer make an empty banner message appear on the LCD when a shunt or empty grid square is highlighted. 'Channel' and 'Block Level' control labels are 'grayed-out' when an empty space or a shunt is highlighted.

Fixes

  • Corrected a potential crash when using modifiers on calculation-intensive parameters such as Klon drive Gain.
  • Corrected a priority level bug that could result in a crash when assigning controls to some functions in the MIDI/Remote menu.
  • Corrected a cause of potential audio distortion from the input ADC during the boot process.
  • FC: Effect: Channel functions will now work correctly when Effect is set to Controllers.

Thanks FAS and @m_brown ! What is the Bosom Boost based on?

Had heard an example of the Paragon wah some months back. And thought that would be a welcome addition for the FM9, when new firmware was available. And now, the dream has come true...will be checking it out in the next week or so...Thanks, FAS, Matt & Cliff!
