FM9 Factory Presets version 3.0 Release

Anyone notice how some of the Presets with dual amps are a bit unbalanced between left and right? “Chugnuts” specifically. I just adjusted the level of the amp blocks to balance them a bit more - does that seem like the right approach?

The presets are a year and a half old. Firmware has had significant updates so it wouldn't surprise me.

Yes, adjusting the Amp block Level is the right approach.

where should we report bugs in the presets? I've seen several where a setting is off such that the preset didn't effectively do anything. "Phaser "Trem" Sync, (149 or Bank B 022 I suppose) for example basically was silent, so I verified by watching FSM's demos, and I remember having to fix something on Control channel A for LFO 1+2 )
Others mostly were the preset had a scene note specifying that CS1 will take an action, but CS1 isn't actually mapped anywhere (common for flanger on/off for evh presets or flanger momentary, a hold delay for an eric johnson preset, and some other similar things).

for reference here is the fsm demo video which showed what the preset should sound like,
if you pull up the factory preset at least as it came out of the box on a brand new FM9 turbo mk2 in february that preset was hosed, and after seeing that 'hosing' I said you know I bet I need to update to latest everything which was convenient as everything had been recently updated after I received my unit early this year, having not touched anything yet, I updated FM9, firmware, and the new presets.

You can download the latest factory presets on the FM9 downloads page:

If you have issues with factory presets consider the following from the April 11, 2024 Factory Presets v7.0 notes:

Factory preset banks for FM9 firmware 7.x or newer. Includes banks A, B, C and an ALL BANKS file. Use Fractal-Bot to install. (NOTE: v7.0 presets are the same as v3.0 but have been saved under the new firmware to optimize gapless switching and amp parameter updates. For FM9 firmware versions older than 6.0, use the original 3.0 presets
