It was definitely a saved channel.....However I am a fool!!!!

The channel I saved was from a preset where I was using scene ignore in the amp block - so of course that carried over.

Thank you for helping though
 
I see a second LFO label + horizontal line in the Flange block. Restarting FM9-EDIT made no difference for me.
