FM9 Case?

So it's hard to tell from reading through the thread ... is there a hidden clear winner in the FM9 case sweepstakes?
Criteria: (a) good fit; (b) good padding; (c) good price; (d) readily available for purchase.

And for those who you a helix case, it is flopping around in there or is it pretty secure? It seems like a good option to me as I want to keep an expression pedal or two plus an ipad in the outer pockets.

Was looking at some close up pictures of the Helix bag. Not too sure about the zipper pull tabs. Looks like they are standard metal zip closures with string or cord or elastic for the pull tabs. They look like they might not hold up to a lot of usage. Anyone own one of these bags that can comment on the zippers?

How you liking the FM9 with the headrush bag?

I was going to go the pedal board / bag route, but I have come to the conclusion I prefer the FM9 flat on the ground. Would love a bag that would fit the FM9, expression pedal, chords and various other accesorries but dont want to spend an arm and a leg
havent tried it. Honestly, it would fit fine, but I switched to a luggage bag with wheels that fits my fm9, two expression pedals and wireless IEM carrying case. Moving to wheels was the best decision I made lol

Headrush bag fits my fm3 and fc6. Should fit the fm9 fine
I've been looking into the Headrush backpack for the FM9. Do you know the dimensions of the outer pockets? I can't find any information on this anywhere. I would like to have a couple expression pedals and some other stuff mounted to a small board and want to know if that small board will fit in that big outer pocket of the Headrush bag. Any help you can provide would be much appreciated.

I will try mate, but wont be around all weekend

I know it has been posted, but I got the SKB 1SKB-SC2111. It is a solid case that I wouldn't be afraid to stack stuff on.
It's a bit too big, and the big button does get pressed when you close the top. I could remove the top foam or cut the foam to prevent that.

The $83 price is great, but I might get the Helix Backpack. I'll double-check that it fits in it. Then I could carry all my cables, expression pedal and drop pedal in the same case. The Pedal Train bag markmurtha posted literally looks like a rebrand of the Helix bag.

Decided to give the Headrush backpack a go. Website says it may take a couple weeks (back-ordered), but it has extra space for EV-1 and cables.

Has anyone else confirmed that FM9 fits in the main compartment? I think it should have a couple inches to spare but I have not seen a confirmation yet on here.

I think the Pedaltrain Metro 24 softcase/backpack is a good contender. More room than the metro 20 someone posted, but hopefully not TOO much room. I have the roiling Helix case from Gator and it fits great in there.

I was going to mount the FM9 to a board, mainly because I like making boards, but I think I’ll just use it as is because it’s so beefy, it kind of IS the pedalboard lol. I have this Gator rolling helix case. There’s room for 2 EV-1s plus a good long IEC cable.

Which model is that?

I had thought of getting the 24 and putting ev2 in main pocket with it but ended up ordering the SKB sc2311. I own a few of the sc2111 (I have also owned the gator variant) and it is just impossible to beat the protection for the price

I have ordered the Pedaltrain 24 premium case and should have it later this week. Hopefully I’ll have my FM9 back from the IEC fix soon too. Once I have both in hand, I’ll take some pictures…
