Fm3 Setup questions

I am trying to run My FM-3 as effects only in the front of my Amp (no fx loop) I am using Output 2 (copying Output 1). I'm having the hardest time getting unity gain. The Fm-3 is slamming the front end of my amp I have to run a 12db pad and have Vol 2 rolled back a bit. I imagine I am doing something wrong with the I/O menu. Any ideas? I ran My AXE II like this for a long time with the volume maxed and it worked perfect.

Make sure your output is set to instrument-level. That might help.

what is in the patch you are using? Delete the amp and cab in the patch. And yes instrument level

When you use the copy-Out1-to-Out2 feature, the level of Output 2 more closely matches Output1. This was a recent change at user request.

If you want unity gain at Output 2, you have to use the Out2 block.
