FM3 Firmware Version 11.0

I see the Prince Tone has been renamed under the "Amp Name" but not in the preset name. Was this on purpose? Thanks for all the hard work!
 
Hi,
I could use some help. I just updated my FM3 to the brand new Firmware 10.0, and I can't seem to get the Dyna-Cabs to load. I must be missing something. I use a PC and updated the drivers. Editor and Bot both say they are updated. I found the Dyna Cab download and have installed it several times, but when I restart the FM3, it gives me the error message. And none of the Dyna-Cabs are there. I have gigs this weekend so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thx!

I have it to set to min at 0 and max at 50%. So with no pedal plugged in it goes to the max. I don't see any setting named Init.

The proper DynaCabs are in the firmware zip. There's no download to find...

You might have the FM9 or Axe cabs installed?

Just to be certain, are you installing the Dynacabs included with this FW?

Are you assigning the pedal port directly as the modifier?

Instead, map the pedal port to an External Controller.

Set the External Controller as the modifier.

In the global settings there are settings for External Controller Init Value for an external controllers.

Yes the modifier is assigned to FC1 pedal 2. That's not the right way to do it? It works fine except for when I don 't have a pedal plugged in.

It's fine but not as flexible as the external controller method...

There is no Init Value for pedal jacks.

Not seeing the settings for the external controller. I've never used them. The controllers page shows Ext 2 mapped to pedal 2 now but how to you set the external 2 controller up? I feel a little dumb here hahah. Had this thing for awhile now but there's still a lot of stuff I have to learn.

Edit: I feel even more dumb. Just click it. Doh!! Spoke too soon. That just takes me to where the ext is mapped to. So how to edit the external controller itself?

Yet another edit: So I went to the wiki and figured it out. I have external controller 2 mapped to my FC1 Pedal 2. The init value is set to zero for external 2. My Plex block mix is mapped to external 2. With the pedal plugged in it works fine. I saved it, unplugged the pedal, and rebooted and the Plex mix is at max setting. The init setting does nothing in my case.

Thank you for your dedication to your products! Improving the preamp modelling yet again without any fuzz. Minor or major update the competition would try to capitalize it like reinventing the wheel.

10.0? It was a typo? The new one is 11.0.

Got it. I had accidentally downloaded an older update somehow. I got 11.0 now and it seems to work fine. Thank you to everyone.
