Flashing led

Hi there
there was a thread ages ago about the flickering midi in led when a Roland fc300 foot controller was attached, and the reason was deduced, but did anyone find a way to stop it flickering. (tried searching for old thread but came up empty, and contacted Roland uk but to no avail)

IIRC - there's no way to stop it.
It's due to the FC300 "polling" attached devices.
I learnt to ignore it - and I now have an MFC, so it's no longer an issue for me.
FC300 is now attached back to the VG99 - which is where it belongs, and works best

Think I'll update the wiki page with that info...
