Flanger Help...need some fractal forum expertise.

Got a last minute festival gig with a Libyan singer called Amed Fakroun....

one of the tunes has a particular effect on the electric. It sounds like and extreme flanger to me and maybe a panner, but I cant get the sound right. I normally run in mono, is stereo the key to getting that kind of whistle like sound?



any advice greatfully recieved
 
Try a Phaser, set to Treadle Phaser type. Turn up Depth and Feedback. Crank Min Frequency. Turn up Bias, and adjust to taste.
