First AxeFX Tone Test (Post Hardcore/High Gain)

Preset #329 ;)

Slightly edited EQ and master volume. I really like the sound of that amp sim and cab combo though, so little editing was required. The patch is a bit fizzy stock, but lowering the gain and cranking up the master makes it rock a bit more.

Used a bit of delay and reverb on the tapping part, but sadly I didn't save that patch. I'm really haphazard when it comes to throwing on those things. Whoops!

Here's one of the candidates for the final arrangements. Still contemplating some things about it. Vocals should be done in a week or so!

Let me know if you have any suggestions :)

Digging the song mate! Are you in a band? Sounds fat and crunchy without being muddy. I like that about the axe high-gain tones. How did you record this?

Not currently in a band, but my singer/songwriter friend and I are using this to hopefully put one together. Goal is to modernize "post hardcore" while cutting out the "emo" elements. He's a killer singer, so I'm looking forward to putting this stuff out when we can get to doing vocals.
