Filter block morphing?

I have a section in a song that has a filter block (Lo pass) engaged just before a guitar solo.

There is an LFO assigned to the filter cutoff moving it around. So I cannot use an external controller to move the cutoff to wide open for the solo section.

I am using scenes and this always causes a drop out.

Since the filter block doesn't have a mix knob I have no solutions.

Is there a work around? Thanks!
 
one solution might be to place a mixer block after the filter. run a shunt around the filter. use an expression pedal to crossfade between the two rows
 
The filter block doesn't (or shouldn't) create a dropout when engaging or bypassing. Are other block bypass or XY changes occurring at the scene change into the solo? Is Axe-Edit running?
 
Or use a second filter tied to what ever controller you like. Like Bakerman said, filter block shouldn't cause a drop out.
