Seems to me (IMHO) that 10" vs 12" speaker choice is a personal preference thing. I've been on this forum for many years and have never heard a clear consensus that 10" speakers are "better" than 12" speakers. It's all about what sounds good to each person. I'm not meaning to be argumentative about this. Just want to note that "different strokes for different folks" would be more accurate. I used to gig with a QSC K12, and currently gig with an EV PXM-12MP. I really like my tones better than the FR-10 I had for a couple of months. Of course, this is just my preference. Many other forum members share my like of the EV. I get great tones and don't feel like I miss using a 10" speaker. But, this is just what works for me. YMMV.
